Step-by-Step Registration Guide

Visit the Registration Page

Fill Out Your Information

You’ll be greeted by our registration form. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Enter Your Name: Provide your full name. This helps us know who you are.
2. Create a Username: Choose a unique username. This will be your identity on the NE6 platform.
3. Enter Your Email Address: Make sure it’s a valid email address. You’ll need this for account verification and communication.
4. Create a Password: Choose a strong password to keep your account secure. Remember to use a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters.
5. Confirm Your Password: Re-enter the password to ensure there are no typos.

Agree to Terms and Conditions

Before you proceed, take a moment to read our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. These documents outline the rules and responsibilities for using NE6. Once you’ve read and understood them, check the box to agree. (https://support.newenglandconnect.com)

Login and Check your Email

Once you register, you can immediately login. Upon login, to verify your account, you’ll be sent a verification code. Head over to your email inbox and look for the confirmation email from NE6. If you don’t see it, check your spam or junk folder. To complete the login process, either copy and paste the code into the authentication code area, or click the “Continue” button in the email. You can save your login information for 30 days by checking off the box under the verification code entry area.

When you login for the first time, you will be required to setup two-factor authentication. Click continue and select your options for two-factor authentication setup.

You can utilize a mobile app authentication (like Authy or Google Authenticator); your email address; and a list of 10 backup codes.

*IMPORTANT: You must save your 10 backup codes upon first login to recover your account at a later time. If you do not have these backup codes, lose access to your registered email address, or lose access to your authentication app, you may be unable to retrieve your account. NE6 Support is always here to help resolve access issues, however we strongly advise keeping a record of these codes in a secured location.

Added Security Options 

Additionally the first time logging in, for added security of your account, we offer the ability for you to setup a Passkey Login. You can choose to skip this step (forever) or you can setup USB Security Key or Add Passkey. We offer this added security at no cost to you. Please note depending on your device, there may be compatibility issues. Please see the below information for more details on Passkeys.

Passkeys improve security and speed up the login process by using authentication built into your device instead of passwords. This can mean biometrics like Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello. If your device doesn’t have those capabilities, don’t worry, you can still use passkeys.

When authenticating with a passkey, your personal information never leaves your device. Hackers can’t leak passkeys or trick you into sharing them.

How it works:

1 Press “Add Passkey” to register your device.

2 A pop-up will appear; follow its instructions.

3 Name your passkey and you’re done!

Log In to Your New Account

After verifying your email, return to the NE6 login page. Enter your username and password, then click “Log In.” Welcome to the NE6 community!

Complete Your Profile

Once you’re logged in, it’s time to complete your profile. Here’s what you can do:

1. Upload a Profile Picture: Add a friendly face to your profile.
2. Fill in Additional Details: Provide information about yourself or your business. The more details you provide, the easier it is for others to connect with you.
3. Link Your Social Media Profiles: Connect your social media accounts to keep your audience updated and engaged.

Submit Your Listing

Now that your account is set up, you can start submitting your listings. Whether it’s a business or an event, NE6 makes it easy to showcase what you have to offer.

2. Fill Out the Details: Provide detailed information about your establishment or event. Include images, descriptions, categories, and tags.
